Baby Quilt - Lewis & Irene Marrakech (tile) Quilt

When I first saw the fabric for this baby quilt I thought of beautiful Moroccan tiles.  There is a crispness to the print that I particularly like and so I decided that I wouldn't combine the print with other printed fabric and opted for plain white for the quilt top.  I chose deep purple for the binding and backing.

The fabric I used for the quilt top is from Lewis & Irene's Marrakech range.  I've used good quality wadding and quilted the patchwork in natural thread for the top and fuchsia thread  for the back and sewed across the diagonal.

The quilt measures approximately: W35" x L46" or W89 cms x L117 cms
