Robert Kaufman Bright Palette Lap Quilt

For some time now I've been wanting to make a lap quilt or quilt top with a 'Honey Bun' or Skinny Strip pre-cut bundle.  These bundles are 1.5" strips and are excellent for sashing or borders.  Robert Kaufman does a lovely line in Skinny Strips and I used one called 'Bright Palette' for this quilt, and this is what I came up with.  I used bright yellow for the binding and the backing is the same yellow fabric with a 4" white strip to one side (right for a bit of interest!)  The border is a mixture of the coloured strips and white.

The quilt has good quality wadding in the middle and I've used stippling stitching to quilt the patchwork.

The quilt measures approximately W41" x L61" or W104 cms x L155 cms
