Giraffe Crossing 2 Baby Quilt

Riley Blake produced a playful fabric line called Giraffe Crossing 2.  With just one 5" Stacker (charm pack) I was able to make the central part of this baby quilt and I added a deep yellow border and some red binding.  I've included some cloe-up images of the fabric showing the animal characters.  For the backing I chose some polka dot fabric also from Riley Blake.

I quilted the patchwork on the diagonal with a series of narrow straight lines on the border to add a bit of interest and texture.

The quilt was made on a domestic machine and finished by hand.  Good quality wadding has been used and all the fabric is 100% cotton.

The approximate measurements are:  W36" x L40" or W91.5 cms x L101.5"
