I'm rather a fan of Robert Kaufman's Riviera Ten Square, which is a pre-cut bundle in just one solid colour. The colour is a strong blue and its depth is well suited to lots of projects. Out of one bundle of Riviera Ten Square this is the fourth project I've managed to use this wonderful blue.
For this quilt I've teamed up some Riviera blue together with some soft calico, but I've gone a bit wild with the backing and binding. I've used some neon orange fabric by Riley Blake.
The quilting has been sewn in diagonal lines as well as straight lines down the solid sections of the quilt top. You can see the overall effect of the quilting on the image showing the back.
I made the quilt using a domestic machine and finished the quilt by hand. Good quality wadding is sandwiched between the layers.
The approximate measures of the quilt are: W36.5" x L45" or W92.5 cms x L114 cms
