In my shop I currently stock some pre-cut Kona Cotton Skinny Strips. These are thin strips measuring 1.5" wide. Measurements in patchwork and quilting circles is generally in inches! I've found that Skinny Strips are incredibly versatile. For this project I wanted to make a whole quilt top and to use every piece of fabric that I could and apart from cutting off the selvedge I managed to achieve my goal. The chose Bright Palette Skinny Strips for this piece.
This almost square quilt can be used as a baby quilt or would work really well as a play mat. The backing fabric is bright red and the binding is teal. Good quality wadding is sandwiched between the layers. I made the quilt on a domestic machine and finished it by hand.
The approximate measuresments are: W40.5" x L41.5" or W103 cms x L105.5 cms.
