Mid Mod Quilted Place Mat (Bird Teal and Eye Teal)

I'm delighted to be able to add some recently made quilted place mats.  Each mat is different yet co-ordinated, so it's possible to buy just one on its own or more.

The retro style fabric is by Penny Rose and is called Mid Mod and on one side you'll find Bird Teal and on the other Eye Teal.

There are two layers of 100% cotton wadding as well as one layer of heat-resistant insulating wadding.  Each place mat measures approximately 9.5" x 10" or 24 cms x 25.5 cms.

I used a domestic machine to make the place mat and to quilt it.  The binding is in teal and was finished off by hand.

I've added a couple of images of the Penny Rose fabric which hopefully shows the true colours.

The place mats can be machine washed.  As the fabric and wadding has not been pre-washed there will be a minimal amount of shrinkage.
