Oven Gloves - Funky (Yellow)

Everybody needs to have oven gloves and that being the case why not have something funky AND practical.

On one side I've used black and white fabric from Riley Blake called Sashing Stash and for the pockets and binding I've used a lovely yellow fabric.

There is one layer of heat-resistant insulating fabric and one layer of 100% cotton wadding sandwiched between the fabric layers.

 

I used a domestic sewing machine to make the gloves and finished the binding by hand.

The gloves can be machine washed (there may be a small amount of shrinkage).

The gloves measure approximately 32" x 8" or 81 cms x 20.5 cms
