Pair of Quilted Place Mats and Coasters

Due to the popularity of the place mats I'm adding some different designs.  Here are a pair of quilted place mats and quilted coasters.

There are two layers of 100% cotton wadding as well as one layer of heat-resistant insulating wadding.  Each place mat measures approximately 14" x 11" or 35.5 cms x 28 cms and the coasters measure approximately 4.5" x 4.5" or 11.5 cms x 11.5 cms.

I used a domestic sewing machine to make the place mats and to quilt them.  The quilting on the mats is in horizontal lines.  The binding has been finished off by hand.

The place mats can be machine washed.  As the fabric and wadding has not been pre-washed there will be a minimal amount of shrinkage.
