Oven Gloves (Fable Wood - Flower Power)

Most of the oven gloves and mitts I make are more or less the same size give or take a smidgen.  I've made these patchwork gloves slightly larger.

These gloves have a layer of heat-resistant insulating material as well as a layer of 100% cotton wadding.  The 'pockets' are similarly insulated.  The gloves measure approximately 35.5" x 7.75" or 90 cms x 19.75 cms.

I made the gloves on a domestic sewing machine and finished the gloves by hand.  The fabric is 100% cotton and the gloves can be washed on a gentle setting.

Please note the oven gloves are heat-resistant not heat proof.

Care should always be taken when handling any hot items.
