Colour Burst Scrappy Cushion (Squares)

For this cushion I used part of a jelly roll to make a 'scrappy' cushion.  Although the prints are varied they go so well together, with a strong feeling of Spring and Summer.

The envelope cushion cover is fully lined and in addition on the patterned patchwork side there is a layer of 100% cotton wadding.  The reverse side is plain and added a binding strip and used the same binding around the cushion.

I used a domestic machine and machine quilted the patterned side and finished the cushion off by hand.

The cushion itself has duck feather filling and the finished cushion measures approximately 12.5" x 21.5" or 32 cms x 53 cms.

The cushion cover is machine washable on a gentle setting.
