Sashing Stash Oven Mitts

I was delighted to be asked to make some oven mitts for a chef.  He particularly liked the black and white fabric and egg yolk yellow combination.

The gloves are both funky and practical.  They have a layer of heat resistant insulating material as well as a layer of 100% cotton wadding, plus they are machine washable.
