Postage Stamp Baby Quilt

There is something very effective about using very small squares in patchworks.  The size of the finished squares (after being sewn together) is 1½".  I've used a variety of different colours and prints making this a versatile quilt that will suit almost any colour scheme in a baby's room.  The placement of the pieces is higgledy-piggledy.

I've added a flange accent (a tiny folded strip on the edge of the patchwork) to frame the quilt and on the reverse side I've included a panel of squares to add a little interest.

This square Postage Stamp patchwork quilt can be used as bedding for a baby, a playmat or even as a wall hanging.  If you would like a hanging sleeve added please contact me so that I can add one on.

The quilt measures approximately W40" x L40" or W102 cms x L102 cms.  The fabric is all cotton and sandwiched between the layers is some good quality 100% cotton wadding.  The patchwork has been quilted on the diagonal with cotton thread.

The quilt is machine washable on a gentle setting.
