For this delightful baby quilt I used fabric from a line called Big Bear, Little Bear. The prints have an American Indian theme with bears and cubs and totem poles and wigwams all in warm tones.
To get the most use from the patchwork, in addition to being used as bedding it could be used as a play mat or even as a wall hanging to decorate a child's room. A sleeve or hanging tabs would need to be added.
The fabric is 100% cotton and between the layers is 100% cotton wadding. The quilt is machine washable on a gentle setting. The quilt was made on a domestic sewing machine and finished by hand. I used straight line quilting on the diagonals as well as some straight line stitching on the inner border.
The quilt measures approximately 46" x 46" or 117 cms x 117 cms.
