Flames Quilted Wall Hanging

This is a small modern wall hanging in warm tones.  As this is a small piece it is perfect is wall space is limited. 

The strips are irregular and some are at a slant. 

Instead of my 'go-to' method of quilting in narrow straight lines, this time I have used the 'stitch in the ditch' technique. 

The fabric is all 100% cotton and between the layers is some 100% cotton wadding.  On the back of the wall hanging I've added corners for some batten wood to be inserted (not included).  As I've added four corners, you can choose which way you would like the piece to be hung. 

The approximate measurement of the wall hanging is 17½" x 14" or 44.5 cms x 36 cms
