Colour Blocks Large Quilted Wall Hanging

Sometimes what is needed to fill wall space is a large piece rather than a collection of small pictures or wall hangings.

I designed this wall hanging to go lengthways although it could just as easily be hung sideways.

My intention for this wall hanging was to produce something with strong colours but at the same time I wanted a softness and I hope that I've achieved that with the wavy quilting which is fairly subtle.  There are some close up images so you can see the detail of the quilting.

The wall hanging has been made with 100% cotton fabric and there's a layer of 100% cotton wadding in the middle.  This gives the wall hanging some additional structure.  There's no visible binding at the edge of the wall hanging - all the binding is on the back.

There's a hanging sleeve at one end.  If you would prefer to have a hanging sleeve added widthways, just contact me before confirming your order.

The approximate measurements of the wall hanging are:  33½" x 55½" or 85 cms x 141 cms
