Mixed Bag Bow Tie Quilted Envelope Cushion

This square Oxford envelope cushion has been made using fabric from a collection called Mixed Bag.  The cushion cover is lined and quilted.  The design of the cushion is based on the traditional 'bow tie' block with a twist.

On the back of the cushion I added a scrappy opening strip and there is a loop and button.  Between the layers of the cushion top is some 100% cotton wadding.

The finished size of the cushion cover is approximately 21½" x 21½" or 54.5 cms x 54.5 cms.  The cover is machine washable although the button will need to be covered in order to protect it.
