Stars Christmas Stocking

Not everyone wants a Christmas stocking in traditional prints or colours.  The stars on this attractive fabric are a gold colour and I used some dusky blue  fabric  for the lining, cuff and loop.  Both the front and back have been quilted in vertical lines which you can see best in the third photograph.  There is wadding sandwiched between the layers to give the stocking extra body.

The approximate measurements of the stocking are:

From top to bottom - 16" or 40.5 cms
Across the widest part - 11½" or 29 cms
