Nature Trail Quilted Christmas Stocking(1)

Not everyone wants a Christmas stocking in traditional prints or colours.  This Nature Trial Gold print is contemporary and is perfect for a modern Christmas Stocking.  I matched the print with a vibrant tomato red fabric which I used for the lining, cuff and loop.  Both the front and back have been quilted with random 'this way and that' quilting which suits this modern stocking.  There is wadding sandwiched between the layers to give the stocking extra body.

The approximate measurements of the stocking are:

From top to bottom - 16" or 40.5 cms
Across the widest part - 11½" or 29 cms
