Mid Mod Birds in Teal Quilted Place Mat(5)

Some time  ago I created a range of quilted place mats from the fabulous Penny Rose Fabrics' retro Mid Mod collection and due to popular demand I decided to make some more.  This time I have made them larger.

This listing is for one place mat.  As there are several different designs within the Mid Mod collection the place mats can be bought individually.  Take a look at the other co-ordinating designs.  There are also reversible coasters in the Mid Mod collection which are sold separately.

Each mat has a layer of heat-resistant insulating material and a layer of 100% cotton wadding.  The back of the place mat and the binding are black. The approximate measurement of this place mat is 14¾" x 13" or 37.5 cms x 33 cms.  The place mat has been quilted in narrow vertical lines.

I used a domestic sewing machine to make the mat and finished it off by hand.

The place mat is machine washable on a gentle setting.  As the fabric hasn't been pre-washed there may be a small amount of shrinkage when the place mat is first washed.
