Modern Log Cabin Patchwork Quilted Tote Bag

The layout for this modern tote bag is based on the log cabin block and comes with an inner zippered pocket lined in a stylish and contemporary New Horizons print.

 

There is a log cabin block on each side of the bag.  The bag itself measures approximately H13½" x W12" or  H34cms x W30½ cms.  The inner pocket measures about H6½" x W5½" or H16 cms x W13.5 cms.  The straps add an additional 15” or 38 cms.

I've used In R Form foam and this gives the bag extra body so that when you place the bag on a surface in doesn't collapse in a heap.  The black strap also has a layer of In R Form foam.  In addition the bag is machine washable on a gentle setting.
