Liberty Print Double Patchwork Quilt

For this double quilt the customer knew she wanted two particular beautiful Liberty prints in Tana Lawn and between us we set about matching those prints with a third print plus the background colour as well as choosing the colour for the back of the quilt.

Instead of a standard narrow binding the quilt is framed with a wide binding.

I quilted the patchwork on the diagonal on each side of the seam lines and this has created a cross-hatch pattern on the back of the quilt.

The entire quilt was made on a domestic machine and finished by hand.
