Scrappy Nine Patch On Point Baby Quilt

This attractive traditional baby quilt is made with nine patch blocks set on point (so at an angle) with sashing strips and cornerstones added and then set with four triangles.

There is a narrow accent strip in burgundy and a plain border.  The backing fabric has a pretty, subtle print and the binding is in burgundy fabric.

The patchwork has been quilted using the 'stitch in the ditch' technique (in other words stitching between the seam lines).

The fabric is 100% cotton and between the layers is some good quality Warm and Natural wadding.  The quilt may be machine washed on a gentle setting.

The approximate measurements of the quilt are 44½" x 44½ or 113 cms x113 cms.
