Set of Four Artisan Quilted Place Mats (Log Cabin)(2)

This is a set of four large artisan place mats in a log cabin layout in earthy colours and made with 100% quilting cotton.   The same colour combination has been used in all four mats.  The colour placement however varies so the mats are not identical.  The reverse side of the place mats and the binding are in black.

Each mat has a layer of heat-resistant material plus a layer of 100% cotton wadding which gives the mats a luxurious quality and helps to protect table surfaces. 

The place mats were quilted on a domestic sewing machine and finished by hand.

The mats measure approximately 15" x 15¼" or 38 cms x 39 cms.

The place mats are machine washable on a gentle setting with like colours. As the fabric hasn't been pre-washed there may be a small amount of shrinkage when the place mats are first washed.  Once washed the mats will benefit from being pressed.
