Set of Two Artisan Quilted Place Mats and Two Coasters (Having Fun with Stripes)

This is a set of two large artisan place mats and co-ordinating coasters in a bright colours and made with 100% quilting cotton.   The stripes are irregular in width to give a modern effect.  The same colour combination has been used in both place mats and coasters.  The colour placement however varies so the mats are not identical.  The reverse side of the place mats and the binding are in blue.

Each mat and coaster has a layer of heat-resistant material plus a layer of 100% cotton wadding which gives the mats a luxurious quality and helps to protect table surfaces. 

The place mats were quilted on a domestic sewing machine and finished by hand.

The mats measure approximately 14¾" x 15¼" or 37.5 cms x 39 cms.

The place mats are machine washable on a gentle setting with like colours. As the fabric hasn't been pre-washed there may be a small amount of shrinkage when the place mats are first washed.  Once washed the mats will benefit from being pressed.
