'Homage' Quilted Patchwork Tote Bag

During the Summer of 2021 I attended the Sophie Taeuber-Arp exhibition at the Tate Modern which made a great impression on me.  Inspired by her use of colours I have made this quilted tote bag.

There is a zippered pocket on the inside.  Both the lining and pocket lining are in a colour called cocoa.

The bag has been quilted in narrow vertical lines in black thread.   

The approximate measurements of the bag are:  W13x  H13" or W33cms x H33 cms.  The straps add an additional 14½" or 37 cms.  The inner pocket measurements are W7" x H8" or W18 cms x H20 cms.

I've used In R Form foam and this gives the bag extra body so that when you place the bag on a surface in doesn't collapse in a heap.  The strap also has a layer of In R Form foam.  In addition the bag is machine washable on a gentle setting.
