'Under the Microscope - Plant DNA ' Quilted Wall Hanging

My love of creating work that incorporates inset circles has not abated.  I have produced a series of standalone wall hangings, each with an inset circle.

I've called this wall hanging 'Under the Microscope - Plant DNA'.  The wall hanging measures approximately W20" x H24½" or W51 cms x H62 cms.  

I quilted the circle with straight lines and then spiral quilting on the surrounding fabric.  The background printed fabric has a collection of nouns for nuts, fruit, vergetables, plants and animals.  

Always one to make use of scraps, the back of the wall hanging has been pieced using scraps in neutral colours.  

Corners have been added to the back so that a hanging rod or piece of batten wood may be inserted (not included).
