For this modern wall hanging I drew the circle by hand before I cut out the shape and then I made some bias binding to create two outer rings. The circle is freehand so deliberately imperfect. All the shapes on this small wall hanging were hand stitched (appliqué) and I then quilted it by machine with narrow lines. The plain black binding, which frames the wall hanging, was machine sewn.
On the back of the wall hanging is a hanging sleeve to enable a hanging rod or a piece of batten wood to be placed (not supplied).
The approximate size of the wall hanging is 20" x 20¾" or 51 cms x 52.5 cms.
Listed separately is Freehand II, which is similar but not the same.
