Grey, Red and Gold Nuno Felt Tote Bag

In 2023 I collaborated with Natasha Smart of Natasha Smart Textiles, a wet felting specialist, and between us we created a number of tote bags.

This is one of the bags we made from our collaboration.

The outer part of this large bag was made using a single piece of felt, hand felted by Natasha, incorporating nuno felted gold fabric and fibres, wool yarns and red, cream/gold and grey wool fibre.  I then used the felt to make  a unique tote bag and added a complementary red cotton lining and large inside zippered pocket (big enough for a mobile phone and more) in dark grey, and brown leather handles/shoulder straps.
