Small Quilted Wool Bag

I am bit of a fan of Wallace & Sewell scarves and find difficult to resist stocking up on gifts.  At their last sale just before Christmas 2023 I found some beautiful scarves, and used some to bag a few bags.

The wool fabric used for the outer part of this small handbag is a second and so there may be minor flaws.  Each side of the bag is different.  The bag is lined in a colour called Cocoa.  The same colour has also been used for the short  straps.  There is also a small zippered pocket which is also lined in Cocoa.

The approximate measurements of the bag are:  W9½" x  H7" or W24 cms x H18 cms.  The straps add an additional 7¾" or 19.5 cms. 

I've used some In R Form foam which gives the bag extra body so that when you place the bag on a surface in doesn't collapse in a heap.   The bag has been subtly quilted.  The quilting is almost invisible to the eye.
