Scrappy Log Cabin Quilt

I constantly amass vast amounts of scrap fabric and periodically I set myself the task of using those scraps, no matter how small,

First I made a small wall hanging where the finished width of the strips are 1/4".  That piecce is listed separately under 'Wall Hangings'.  I then set about making this quilt.

For this scrappy log cabin quilt I used 1" strips (2.5 cms).  When sewn together the finished size of each strip is 1/2", so very narrow.  

The quilt measures approximately 45 1/2" x 45 1/2" or 115.5 x 115 cms.

Between the layers is good quality wadding.  The backing fabric is a modern print in reds.

This quilt would work well as a lap quilt or a wall hanging.  A hanging sleeve may be added, on request.
