Les Oeufs Hand Quilted Wall Hanging(2)

PLEASE NOTE:  THERE ARE CERTAIN COLOURS THAT ARE DIFFICULT TO PHOTOGRAPH, PARTICULARLY TEAL AND AQUA.  I'VE INCLUDED STOCK PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE FABRIC TO HELP TO GET AN IDEA OF THE TRUE COLOURS.  

The shapes, or oeufs, were appliquéd by hand.  I then quilted the wall hanging by hand in cream thread and then added some black couching, which was stitched by hand.

The background colour is as shown in the 4th photograph, rather than blue as the first few images suggest.  The colour of the larger oeuf is shown in the fifth photograph.

There is a hanging sleeve on the back where a rod or piece of batten wood may be inserted (not included).

The wall hanging measures approximately 29 1/2" x 21" or 73.5 cms x 53.5 cms.
