Les Oeufs Hand Quilted Wall Hanging(1)

PLEASE NOTE:  THERE ARE CERTAIN COLOURS THAT ARE DIFFICULT TO PHOTOGRAPH, PARTICULARLY TEAL AND AQUA.  I'VE INCLUDED STOCK PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE FABRIC TO HELP TO GET AN IDEA OF THE TRUE COLOURS.  

The shapes, or oeufs, were appliquéd by hand.  I then quilted the wall hanging by hand in cream thread and then added some black couching, which was stitched by hand.

There are two background colours which can best be shown in photographs 4 and 5, rather than blues as the first few images suggest.

There is a hanging sleeve on the back where a rod or piece of batten wood may be inserted (not included).

The wall hanging measures approximately 26 1/2" x 19 1/2" or 67 cms x 49.5 cms.
