When Is A Curve Not A Curve? Quilted Wall Hanging(1)

When Is A Curve Not A Curve?   The answer:  when it is a hyperbolic paraboloid.  What may look like a curve are in fact straight lines.  

This mini wall hanging was made using the Foundation Paper Piecing technique.

The wall hanging measures approximately W11 1/2 x H11 1/2" or W29 cms x  H29 cms.  

On the back are four corners so that a piece of batten can be inserted (not provided).  The wall hanging may be hung in one of four ways.

As I quilted the wall hanging I noticed a mark on one section of the lighter purple (as shown on the last photo).
