'Subtle Distortion' Quilted Wall Hanging

I've been honing the technique of insetting skinny strips and have been experimenting with placement of the strips.    The strips measure just over 1/8th inch or 3.175 mm.

I quilted the wall hanging in a grid layout, with narrow lines both vertically and horizontally and I added a contrasting binding to frame the wall hanging.

The wall hanging measures approximately 25"x 24 1/2" or 63.5 cms x  62 cms.  

On the back is a hanging sleeve so that a hanging rod or piece of batten wood may be inserted (not included).
