Baby Quilt - Diamond Dreams - Je Ne Sais Geometric

I am often inspired by other people’s quilts and when I saw a version of a Diamond Dreams quilt I knew I wanted to make a smaller version suitable for a baby.

Without a shadow of a doubt I found it the most challenging quilt I have ever made in terms of getting the blocks in the right place.  Sometimes this happens.  I still enjoyed the process and realised that I’m probably ‘angley’ challenged.

The fabric for this Diamond Dreams quilt comes from Je Ne Sais - Geometric Chevron - in green and yellow together with a Moda solids Layer Cake in different shades of cream.

For the backing some deep egg yolk yellow coloured fabric has been used and a combination of the chevron fabric and the yellow fabric makes up the binding.  Good quality wadding is between the layers.
